Xbox, one of the leading console platforms in the gaming industry has hired Kounterattack to provide strategy, UX and design services in an effort to help create a socially equitable atmosphere for the Xbox experience.
Already a leader in the multimedia experience, Xbox allows users to engage with thousands of games, movies, and live TV channels – in addition to gaming, within one cohesive experience. They are looking to bring it all together by envisioning the overall user experience of their console to be more than just isolated gaming or entertainment by creating a social network for users to further interact outside of the standard console environment.
Traditionally, Xbox has been the key console in the multiplayer gaming sphere, and by creating a more social and equitable experience within the console, they hope to continue solidifying their superiority.
